Hello I was diagnosed CKD about 3 years ago but didn’t need dialysis until February of 2018.
Just found this site a few days ago. Just got home from dialysis, it’s 10 PM promise to give more details about myself later.

Husband had ESRD with Type I Diabetes -Insulin Dependent.
I was his care-partner for home hemodialysis using Nxstage December 2013-July 2016.
He went back to doing in-center July 2016.
After more than 150 days of being hospitalized with complications from Diabetes, my beloved husband's heart stopped and he passed away 06-08-21. He was only 63.

Ji ptown cook!

Welcome to IHD.  You've come to the right place.  We are all here for each other, whether to lend an ear or to try to help each other with advise.  Dialysis is slightly different for each of us.  We have our trials and tribulations amd it is often very helpful to have another for moral support.  Frustrating, it can be very helpful just to 'vent'.  This is the place.

Read lots.  Post often.

Take Care,
