Hello,
I'm Jay from Northern VA. I celebrated the 8th anniversary of my kidney transplant on Nov. 9th by starting dialysis.
I was blindsided by the news that my kidney "Angie" was failing but I took it in stride. I thanked God for giving me 8 years of life while I began my tailspin. I was told by a Nephrologist that I had ruined my kidney by not taking care of it and after I found she hadn't even looked at my records which I made sure were available, I realized she did not have my best interest so she was of no use to me.
I have since found my bearings as well as what may have happened to Angie. I stumbled across this forum while looking for cases in which the generic Prograpf (tachrilimus) caused organ failure. I am already thankful for this forum and hope to contribute and encourage all here.
I wish everyone peaceful and strong days.
