I was flying back from Monterrey Mexico and I landed in Houston to change planes.  I had to clear customs and got on the line, there was a middle aged women on line in front of me.  After a couple of minutes a agent with a beagle came down the line and the dog sat down right next to the women.  Who turned to her male companion and said "The cute little doggy likes me", then 4 agents came out took the women her male companion and all the luggage away.  Later I saw the pair in a airport bar and they did not look happy.  Don't know what she was searched for but there are drug, vegtable dogs back then.

The last time I flew through Houston, I was in the baggage area and oh Lord it stunk.  There was a sniffer dog going nuts.  Turns out some bright spark from Mexico was trying to bring in fresh fish that was no longer so fresh.  Can you believe it?

When a Customs K-9 dog sits down they are alerting agents to drugs, weapons, explosives or contraband. K-9's are smart. So are Customs Agents.  8)

Just so you know,  If I EVER attempt to move any drugs through Customs, it will be in my blood stream only.  I ain't taking any risk of having any of that stuff found ON me or IN my luggage.

I will simply drift right on by about 30 thousand feet, watching the show.
