Aloha, I've been having issues doing my home dialysis.  I'm using a tunnel catheter, will start in hospital training to start self cannulation using a AV Graph fistula.  The problem is my blood pressure starts out in the 100/50 range and of course starts dropping as soon as I start HHD.  Tonight I didn't even try because checking my pressure it was at 100/53.  I do have a heart condition, but the medication that I've been taking has been since March and it has kept my pressure good in the 120/60 range.  Just over the last few weeks it's been low, so I really can't do a higher UF rate, which has caused my weight to go up.  Any bits of advise would be appreciated.  Mahalo.

This should not be taken as medical advice because you may need to have your BP meds adjusted but what works for us is two low salt dill pickles.  They raise my guy's BP like 20-30 points in a minute or two and allow him to take fluid off.

You could also try Cayenne Pepper, worked for me.

Good luck, Cas
