Welcome Kathleen.  Maybe a little more about you please.  Where do you live and what led up to Carroll's kidney failure.  Welcome to our site.

Rerun,

Sure thing. We live in Missouri. My husband (Carroll) has an enlarged prostate he was seeing a Uro. That Doctor didn't run the right tests. My husband urine backup into his kidneys, which caused his kidney failure 4 years ago.

Welcome to our caring and sharing community.  :grouphug;  This is definitely the place to be especially when you are new to this renal failure challenge.  This site is more than valuable in helping to prepare you, in answering some questions that the professionals don't seem to want to or be able to answer.  I cannot begin to express the debt I feel to this website for helping me through my first days of dialysis.  And now I am able to be part of the team that is there for you guys!  Welcome again!
