In da House.

« on: May 05, 2007, 03:29:29 PM »

I know i have mentioned the problems i have where i live before. Like most of you i dont sleep to well and its now 11.45pm and i want to go to bed but i cant, because the idiot people that live nearby are at it again. Playing football on the green outside the house, shouting partying etc. I cant go out and ask them to keep it down , i am to scared (they all know i live here alone) and i wouldnt want to tackle a bunch of guys in their 2o's anyway. I am at the end of my tether with it all now , i am so tired i am shaking.The only thing i can think to do is see what my doctor says at my appointment next week , they wonder why my bp is sky high. Honestly this place is going to finish me off , i hate it here , but i am stuck. Sorry but no-one else to rant to when things like this happen .

Can you get a pair of noiseblock headphones to wear that have whit enoise in them? I use a pair at the dialysis center.  My sister found them at a truck stop for me. You would not believe the peace I have now in the center. It does not block all of it out, but enough so the noise is not so darn loud.

Going to speak to doc's when i go to hospital next week , see what they suggest , as where i live belongs to a housing association. It might be worth seeing if someone can throw their weight around to get me moved, i can only try!

First of all I don't think you should have to tolerate the inconsiderate people but as you stated at 20 they would probably just tell you to take a jump so maybe you should try ear plugs. I just bought a package for my wife to keep the wind noise down on our motorcycle and it cost me $18.00 American at a local builders supply for a containers of 100 pairs of ear plugs.

I have a .38 you could borrow, that would put an end to the noise quickly plus it's fun to use.  :rofl;
