Too Late, (Again)

I was supposed to be at the Univeresity Hospital already this morning. I'm late, again. I was late getting connected to my Cycler last night, 'She' wanted to go to dinner. St Pat's Corned Beef and Cabbage with those red potatoes, it was good. But as usual, 'She' didn't come home after school, instead just 'has to' go 'shopping' at the Resale Shop, as they 'put put new stuff every day'. So 'She' didn't get hoome until 5:30, then wanted me to take 'Her' to dinner. Fine. So it is almost 8 before we get home and I start setting up my Cycler which runs a whole 11, or 12 hours. I never remember. Anyway, 8 o'clock this morning I disconnect, weight, BP's etc.., dressed and in the truck with Son. Got to have a 'Designated Driver' in as they 'relax' you are little (never enough) and do not want me to drive home. 8:30 finallly hit the freeway running my usual 85 asand have Son call to tell them since I live so far away it takes my maybe an hour to go that 75 miles to get there, I''ll be 35 to 40 minutes late for Clinic. They tells us don't bother and reschedule.
Qwap!
Turn around and come back home.
Too cool out for me to go mess with stuff in the Barn or yard. So I'm sitting here venting.
Take Care,

If no one is home and you think you could get away with it, I'd take a nap.

Husband had ESRD with Type I Diabetes -Insulin Dependent.
I was his care-partner for home hemodialysis using Nxstage December 2013-July 2016.
He went back to doing in-center July 2016.
After more than 150 days of being hospitalized with complications from Diabetes, my beloved husband's heart stopped and he passed away 06-08-21. He was only 63.
