This probably TMI, but does anyone else have an earthy sweat smell?  I have noticed that when I sweat I have an very earthy smell about me.  No one else smells it, but I think I reek of it.  I guess in your own skin you notice it more.

Since my transplant, I have had much more noticeable BO.  It is awful.  I have switched to a clinical deodorant and it is working for now....

Since starting dialysis sometimes my husband smells "musty". Nothing bad but I do smell something. Don't know if I'm imagining this but I think it's more noticeable if I think we didn't remove enough fluid from him (and toxins). He can't tolerate scented bath/laundry soaps or scented fabric softeners (and neither can I) but I do add just a tad bit more soap to our wash and that seems to help.

PS: And it isn't TMI. This is how we learn, cope and better our lives. Thank goodness we can find people on here who understand one another.

Husband had ESRD with Type I Diabetes -Insulin Dependent.
I was his care-partner for home hemodialysis using Nxstage December 2013-July 2016.
He went back to doing in-center July 2016.
After more than 150 days of being hospitalized with complications from Diabetes, my beloved husband's heart stopped and he passed away 06-08-21. He was only 63.
