Hi Everyone,

I have been reading a lot of posts on this forum and decided to join.

I am from Ontario, Canada and I am on here for my Dad.  He is 74 and from what the neph tells us his kidneys have been progressively failing for years, but unfortunately we didn't really find out until last year.  He is at 15% Kidney function.  He also has an aortic aneurysm.  My dad is a stubborn man and we have to force him to go to appointments and literally have to make decisions for him.  If it was up to him he would not go to any appointments because he continually says he feels fine and is strong.

I think I spent too much time on google the last few days and now I am paranoid and think that an AV Fistula will kill him by putting too much stress on his heart....ugggghhhh

Thanks
