I met Bill this week at the Renal Support Network's Meeting in Huntington Beach. I didn't know he was going to attend and it was a great surprise to find out he was there! We only spoke for a few minutes - but it was fun to see him!
I first encountered Bill years ago when Jenna first started dialysis. I wanted her to be able to travel and Bill had a great deal of experience to share! I found him on the internet, wrote to him, and he responded with good ideas and enthusiasm.
For those who don't know, Bill is very active within the renal community. He has traveled to Washington, DC, on many occasions advocating for kidney patients. He also is a world traveler, having visited—and dialyzed—in more than 20 countries on five continents.

No I don't have a photo! Next time!

I have much respect for Bill. I'm glad you were able to meet him. He will be in Vegas I believe, i haven't pinned him down yet, he is always so busy. He does so much for the renal community.

I hate to admit it, I think I have heard the name, but am not sure! It would be nice to have a picture to the name! So is he still dialyzing? Does he have his own website?

Thanks Karol! That was very encouraging! I can see why it was so exciting to meet him! I enjoyed his account of his travels, especially when dialyzing.

Great, Karol!  He is an inspiration and a good guide through this journey.
