Hello everyone. My name is Tom Lotito and I'm a master's student at Stony Brook studying journalism. For a long-term story that I'm working on, I want to write about the experience people have while on dialysis, and while waiting or searching for a kidney transplant.

I've found some people who are living donors who were eager to speak, but the voice of the people who are most affected by the waitlist is the most important.

If anyone is from the Long Island, NYC, New Jersey or Connecticut area and it willing to correspond or even meet with me a few times over the next few months, I'd surely appreciate it. Feel free to send me an email at Thomas.Lotito@stonybrook.edu.

In the meantime, I'm going to go through as much as I can here on the site, it seems like there's a ton of wonderful info!

Best,

Tom Lotito
