What an odd little game.  It sounds interesting and challenging enough, but I've never heard of it before.

Been hit too many times to count with the white ball, plus in some very painful places :D

Yay Lakers!

Tonight Lamar Odom returned after being injured for awhile.
And the Lakers lost to the BOBCATS! Good Grief!

Sports I follow:

I knew this touch of class - the gentleman's game - would get to you guys.

The gentleman's game - what other sport breaks for a cup of tea in the afternoon?

6 weeks away from the cricket world cup in the West Indies.

Football/ soccer - FA Cup 4th round is on this weekend and Arsenal take on Bolton.

Rugby - Six Nations starts next weekend and the World Cup later on this year in France.

Those are my three main sports, but any ball sports normally gets my attention for a while except for American football. It is just so boring, yet some how I can watch 5 days of cricket.

Yes!  Big sports fan here!  I'm from Houston originally, and the Astrodome was my second home when I was young.  I'm still a big Astros fan.  Love my baseball.

We had season tickets to the Oilers' games back in the day, and I grew up watching Dan Pastorini and Warren Moon, along with a LOT of other no-name quarterbacks.  I'm still hoping that the Texans will put a decent team on the field, but I have a feeling that David Carr is finished in Houston.  Love my NFL football!

I've followed the Rockets' fortunes for well over ten years, but I'm a bigger fan of the Comets.  I love the WNBA; it's nice to see women play with such passion.  Sports are good for women in exactly the same way that sports are good for men.  Love my basketball!

I lived in England for 18 years, and I became a football fan.  I was a Crystal Palace supporter; they were always toying with either relegation or promotion.  I remember well the creation of the Premier League; Rupert Murdoch single handedly changed the face of English soccer with his Sky Sports channel.  I always looked forward to the big international matches and competitions; I loved the Champions League, the European Championships and of course, the World Cup.  I had the wall chart and everything.  How about Becks playing here in the US!  I always liked watching Michael Owen play.  And Gary Lineker was sooo nice.  Remember Gazza?  Never understood a word he said.  I've seen more international football now that I've moved to the US, believe it or not.  I watched the England squad play at Soldier Field two summers ago...had my CPFC kit on and all, and it was like I was still at Wembley.  Extraordinary atmosphere.  I love my English football!!

Now that I live in Chicago, I get to witness such things as Steve Bartman and the demise of the Cubs and the Sox sweeping my beloved Astros.  Urp.  That wasn't easy.  And now the Bears are in the Super Bowl, and this place is going nuts.  It's both fun and annoying.

Yep, I love my sports!!

Being an Ohio State fan I love college football.
Love to watch Ohio State basketball.
don't care for pro basketball.
like to watch nfl football.
think I want Colts to  win SB since I like Manning and Mike Doss is from OSU.
Years ago I used to love to watch Dallas come from behind to win. would still like to see them do well again.
Like to follow up on OSU players tho to see how they do.
And most people on this forum are probably too young to remember but I'll never
forget the Reds team in late 1970's - the Big Red Machine.
how I'd love to see a Reds team like that again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bench, Foster, Rose, Morgan, on and on what a lineup they had.

Love hockey.  Lived in St. Louis for years and loved the Blues; now in NC and big Hurricanes fan.  Actually have one of the players daughters in my class.  Going to game tomorrow with all the family - 15 of us.  We had so much fun celebrating the Stanley Cup this year. We have all had pictures taken with it - and just have had a good time .  It may be the only time I live in a city with a Stanley Cup Championship!

Hurricanes fan here too.  I hope we can make that push to get in the playoffs.  It's so close with less than 20 games and the team is on and off.  I hope Cole get back soon.  Do you live in Raleigh?  Hockey is the best on an HD channel.  A top notch sport!!!

My favorite sport to watch is racing.  Not that turning left stuff but real racing.  Formula 1 and some other open wheel, and my most fav, Moto GP and the AMA circuits as well.  Nicky Hayden is my Idol.  Valentino Rossi is a superstar, absolutely amazing what he does.

George, I have one of the Hurricanes players child in my class at school.  Great family and I was a huge Canes fan from the first day they got here -- and Ice Caps fan before that!

Re: racing - both my sons race; autocross and rally.  You mentioned VIR in one of your posts -- been there several times to watch them race. They own an autocross racing forum. One son is doing the "lap across America" in May.  We seem to have several things in common.
