 I just started using a Baxter APD machine about 4 weeks ago. I am ready to read what others are saying before I offload all the questions buzzing in my head.

Welcome, yorgo from Melbourne, Australia, from Mary from Melbourne, Australia.      :welcomesign;

I've been doing CAPD (manual) for two years now - machines and I don't get on.  You've found a good place to ask questions.

 Welcome to the site yorgo  :welcomesign; My husband and I did a 3 week tour of Australia about 7 years ago before he had to go on dialysis. It was a trip of a life time, absolutly loved it. We were in Melbourne for about 3 days. Please feel free to ask any questions. My husband has been on Baxters APD machine for nearly 4 years.

Hi yorgo. Welcome to IHD. I just finished training on the liberty cycler. Has not gone too well with continuous alarms. Not much sleep the last few nights.  Am thinking I will go back to and stay on manuals.

I am a caregiver to my wonderful husband,  He is 4p and started PD October 2013. We have several living donors waiting to be tested for a transplant. Dialysis is a bridge to get us where we need to go.
He had a transplant in November 2019.
