Hi Alisa and welcome to our site.  I try and attend the chat room everynight at 8:00 PST.  So, I hope to see you there.  Dialysis sucks and you can come here to vent.  This site is also educational about dialysis.  The do's and don'ts.

Come here and post often.

 :welcomesign; Alisa! I was also wondering which dialysis you were on? I am on PD and have been for 10 months also. I'm 19 years old.

Alisa, we were talking and my computer had a glitch and I left the chat room without saying goodbye.  What a welcome!  I am sorry and hope to see you soon.

Hello Alisa  :clap; This is your firs step in dealing with the emotional aspect of dialysis, it was for me anyway. Before I found this site I didn't have anyone to talk to who knew what it felt like to have to start dialysis. I am only three weeks into my dialysis but I am luck because I am in the NXSTAGE literally. Read my story, I'd love to hear yours so please share with us a little bit about yourself and your situation. Most of all WELCOME TO OUR WORLD.  :welcomesign;

Hello to all of you. Wow I never expected to sit down and see so many heart filled replies.  It really warms me that there are so many people out there just like me.  I can't wait to dedicate some good quality time to figuring out how to use this form. I don't know why I find it tricky?  Any how I must run now. Looking forward to getting to know your stories and sharing mine.

Thank you
