My friend of 49 years died a few weeks ago.  I took care of her all the years she was sick and took her back and forth from dialysis, and doctors, and nursing homes, and hospitals, and rehab centers.  Everything in this house centered around her needs.  You used to have a section for just caregivers but I did not find it.  I wanted to reconnect to all of you because several years ago, Elizabeth was losing her hair and I posted it.  Many of you gave suggestions and it made her happy.  She said everyone tried to say something encouraging and her hair did grow back.  I feel so alone in this house now.  I also just found out I have a tumor on my kidney.

Oh goodness!!  Please take care of you now.. Mabie it will help heal your heart knowing she would want you to be as good to yourself as you were to her.  What an amazing friend you were.  Keep in touch here.  We're still a great group and can be 'friends' even if you get all better...  Bless you for what you have given...   :grouphug;

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. 49 years! She must have been a very important family member for you. I can't begin to imagine the hole her loss must have left in your life.  :grouphug;

I hope the tumor on your kidney is successfully treatable. It would be a lot to deal even in happier times.

What a wonderful friend you are.  And now you are having your own battle.  Let us be your friends and we will go with you during your journey back to health.

I personally like it here because there is such sincere support on whatever is ailing us or troubling us.  Be assured that we care.

Oh my, what an "Angel" we have here!  You reached out and helped a friend in need.  You are so special, Donna.  Now you are heart broken and dealing with your own health issues.  God will show favor on you my friend!  God Bless you, Donna!  You are a good & devoted servant.

Let us know how you are doing.  You have found a home here on IHD.

Again welcome & God Bless,
