First off, Cheers!!
To Epoman for the
awesome Arcade! And thank you, Angie for giving me the Arcade URL, so that I could get competely addicted to Bubble Shooter. Now, my only two wishes in life are for a laptop to take to dialysis and Wifi at the clinic!! I've branched out a little now and am really getting into Beat the Meter. One day, I'll go totally postal and try Qbert or Mahjong!!
Hmmm, so you want to know about me...
38/f/Burlington, NC USA about sums it up. HA!!
I am a relative newbie to the whole dialysis circus, only being on it since September of 2004. It all started in May of 2004, when I, as a 3rd/4th grade teacher took my students out for day of fun and frolic at field day. I got some blisters on my toes which, in turn, got infected. The infection turned septic. Then, "poof!!" There went my my kidneys. I was in the hospital for about a month. I left with an left upper arm fistula and not being able to wear flip-flops!! (Two toes were amputated.)
These days, you'll find me trying to plan a wedding to the goofball you see in my avatar, Mr. Keith. Keith is a true man among men. (How many people do you know that would stick with you through all of the crap I mentioned above (plus alot of other stuff) after only knowing/dating you for 6 months??) We enjoy all kinds of sports. (everything 'cept soccer and hockey) We have a furr-ball "son" named Madison.
I like to tootle-around with website design and am working on a site called "Transportation Station." It's about Big Rigs and the trucking industry. That, planning a wedding, and keeping in touch with my family all over NC keeps my busy when I'm not pumping away on the machines.
Hope you have an AWESOME day!!
