Well, Mum's Neph. looked at her abdominal wound following her TenchKoff removal.... Says it's looking really good...

Now he wants to 'hit the ground running' and get her admitted over the next few weeks to have a new TenchKoff fitted... With a bit of luck, she'll be back on PD by Christmas!....

We're both delighted!....

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers....

Love to all...

:bandance;  Wonderful news!  I hope all goes according to her doctor's plan.  I'm happy to hear she is doing better.

Thanks Rerun and Mary Joe...

Yes, we're VERY pleased!...

Mum's Neph. is a wonderful, true gentleman... Mum trusts him totally... He promised her that he's get her back on PD as soon as possible, and whenever he promises, he delivers....

So we'll be told when there's a slot available that they can fit her into... Hopefully, she'll only be in hosp. overnight...

Thanks for all the support... You've no idea how much it's appreciated!...

Ooooh! Very nice, Darth.

But I'm ecstatic with my Lyme doctor! With Hurricane Sandy barreling down on New York (he is 45 minutes north of the city), he opened his office with no support staff. When I called before office hours, he answered the phone! No receptionist, no nurses, only him to handle the patients who had traveled from near and far to see him. He even had to take my payment at the end. He told me that he lives close to the clinic and routinely covers it so his staff does not have to brave the elements.

I think I'm in love.....

Hee Hee!!!!!...

But Aleta... Think I have the edge on you... We have Medical Cards.... Means this little gem costs us nothing!... AND it takes only about ten mins in my wheelchair to get from my house to the hosp.!!!....

Glad it's going well for you....
