I'm not trying to be funny but I have a huge pimple on my butt cheak. I noticed it the other day while sitting at work. It hurts to sit, well it depends on what I'm sitting on, if I'm sitting on something soft it doesn't hurt but if I'm sitting on something hard like the leather dialysis chairs it hurts. Any ideas on what I can do to help get rid of it? Usually if I have a pimple I just let it run its course, but the ones on my butt I need to deal with right away do to the pain.

sullidog, It sounds like a sweat spot, why are they always in places we can not get at. Get a mirror and see if it has a head on it and if it has give it a good  squeeze.Keep bathing it in hot salt water. Walk round with no pants on and give it some fresh air. What a thing to take about. Spotty bum

Hate to say it but I get them as well and have one right now lol.  Go to a drugstore or cosmetics store and look for a blemish lotion with tea tree oil. It has antiseptic and healing properties and clears the stubborn pimples right up. I usually have to use it for no more than one or two days and I am good to go.

Good luck!

I hope you've used the teatree oil, or teatree creme (that's what I use) 1 or 2 days, and gone.

good luck Cas

I get those from time to time in my groin area. When it comes to a head, I apply a hot compress to it, and the pus comes out.  it is very gross. but it feels soooo much better!

The toxins D patients sweat out can make what would be a normal pimple in anyone else turn into something that most docs refer to as a boil.  As someone already pointed out - hot compresses will usually bring them to a head.  Lancing it can help, but make sure you sterilize the needles and douse it in antibiotic cream if you decide to go that route.
