This is a bioethics seminar from Northwest Kidney Centers, it's part of the events marking the 50 year anniversary of NKC. It starts with a history of dialysis and then a discussion of bioethics.

I'm just watching it for the first time now, if you have any interest in the history of dialysis to treat chronic kidney disease you'll be interested in this.

Dr. Chris Blagg gives a history for the first ~23 minutes

Dr. Albert Jonsen's introduction follows at 24 minute mark, starts at 26 minute mark finishes at ~49 minute mark

Dr. Micheal Kelley introduction starts at about the 57 minute mark, his talk "Ethics in an era of entitlement medicine" starts at 58 minute mark

Before Dr. Kelly started there was some recognition of the people in the audience that have been around since the early years - including Maggie Collins an NKC staff member that has been working at NKC since 1963!
