Folks I suddenly have to go to the dentist in a few days and have a cracked tooth (one of t he back ones) extracted because of the pain.  But what am I supposed to do if the dentist wants to give me painikillerls and/or antibiotics?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  John

make sure that he know you have kidney disease, so no NSAIDs.  likely to give you amoxicillin, just ask if dose needs to be adjusted.

I'd call your neph's office as well, and ask for the names of antibiotics and painkillers that won't interfere with your current meds and won't do further damage to your kidneys.  Then you can have the names and doses at hand if your dentist needs them.
