I'm proposing to start a YouTube channel and I was wondering how many of you guys and girls would be interested in it?

I want to spread the positivity I feel everyday and I think this could be a good vehicle in which I can do that in. I want to show there is life after dialysis and it certainly isn't the end! I'm open to suggestions and ideas that I could use. I'm thinking of putting videos up with information about dialysis for people who aren't yet on dialysis as I feel the information I got before being on dialysis was awful. Reading up about it is one thing, but someone who's been there could save another searching through piles of potential junk. I want it to be a channel for the people, not with corporate explainations and all that nonsense.

Let me know if you'd be interested in subscribing to such a channel. Or even if you have any burning ideas you'd like to put forward but would rather remain anonymous, let me know.

Thanks in advance!

The only reason I attend dialysis is for the tea and the biscuits!

Dialysis wasn't the end, it was just the beginning!

It's about ability, NOT disability!

Poor response on here so far, but on Facebook I had a good response, so I'm going for it.

Any ideas etc would still be appreciated.

It is a good idea and I am sure it will be very helpful and at times I am sure entertaining to all of us here.  Thank you for taking this on and I look forward to seeing it.  This really could be a great thing.  Some people are much more visual and having video could help them understand something easier.  There are some pretty good threads here on IHD that would make great topics for videos.  If you really are short on ideas I would be more than happy to make some suggestions.

I'm not very short on ideas, infact I feel I've came up with some good ones, it's just I want to make sure everyone is catered for in some way. Personally I wasn't given any information before dialysis and I'd love to have known something about dialysis. I just think this is another way that we as a forum can raise awareness, educate people and have fun all at the same time.

I'm hoping to start this very soon. I'm feeling so charged and positive about it all!
