congrats !! since my transplant in feb., i've been going 6-7 days a week, and since I'm still on sick leave from work, I try to workout at least 1.5 hours (more if I don't feel like passing out )I do at least 40 min on the ellipitical, then 25-30 min on either the treadmill or stairmasters, then weight training after. I smell pretty rank at that point.
Had a great morning. Lost 3.4 lbs this week (Weight Watchers weigh in on Tuesday mornings) followed by an hour and fifteen minutes at the gym. Hope you're all having a good day, too!
That's awesome! When did you start back at the gym after your transplant? Were you exercising prior to that point?Quote from: mcclane on June 11, 2012, 11:31:25 AMcongrats !! since my transplant in feb., i've been going 6-7 days a week, and since I'm still on sick leave from work, I try to workout at least 1.5 hours (more if I don't feel like passing out )I do at least 40 min on the ellipitical, then 25-30 min on either the treadmill or stairmasters, then weight training after. Made it to the gym for the fourth time this week. Only missed one day so far. But I was a little nauseated when I got home so I laid down for a minute and was able to pull myself together enough to go to work. Is this something that can happen from time to time? I didn't do anything extra strenuous today.
