Biggest concern after a transplant

If I do go through with a transplant, meaning I can get a donor, my biggest concern is that my glomerulonephritis will come back and attack the donated kidney. I know that's what the drugs are for post tx, but I'm still really scared that it will come back. :/

Everyone with a transplant has reason to be scared it will fail.   I think having a cause besides rejection to worry about would make it worse.  But....I think any time spent with a transplant and off dialysis is worth the fear.

did you discuss this with a nephrologist? They could tell you if your fear is grounded or not.
