Hi to everyone!
I am a wife/caregiver of my husband who had renal failure in July.  It appears his failure was a complication of the tumors in his abdomen from lymphoma.  We were hoping that once the tumors were gone, his kidney's would come back.... not!  This kidney stuff is really complicated, sad, maddening, frustrating and scaring.  Reading the posts on this forum has given me lots of information, support and humor about an otherwise very weird experience! I look forward to learning and talking about this stuff!

Your avatar looks like my former best pal, Molly, who would sneak in the bed and try to crawl under the covers.  Then she would look at you, daring me to toss her out.  I left her where she was.
Your husband must be a very lucky fellow.  Tell us all about his virtues and tell us how hamdsome he is.  Go ahead, I dare you!

Juzzme is my everloving spouse of 35 years.  I encouraged her to join knowing that her perspective on kidney failure is different from mine.  We live in the mountains of northern California thirty miles from civilization, so the need for well thoughtout medical decisions is important, should we have to make them.  I am no longer Superman but she remains Wonder Woman.  And I say, "Yes Dear," at the appropriate times.

Sorry ReRun:  We have a very new home built to our specifications. 2800 sq ft which is enough room to play chase, and we do play chase.  Ha!! Gotcha!!
Besides I like the wild life here.  Been here since 1977.  Sacratomato is much to far away for mountain folk.  Gotta go, she wats to play chase again.
