Oh, Des.... Can I just reach across that wide expanse of ocean and put my arms around you? Carl is facing a hernia repair sometime in the near future . . . He is not worried.... so dear, put your mind at ease. Rest easy in the loving care of your friends and family. Aleta

Ohhhh, my prayers are with you. Please try to calm your fears.. I kknow any surgury is frightning but just to let you know, hubby just had one (the bellybutton area) and it was way not worth the worry we put into it. He said it really was nothing to fear. Sending hugs and prayers

If they hurt you, let them know you belong to a gang called "IHD" They better take good care of you or Else!. So There!!!! Hope the hernia repair comes off easily and that you will feel better and be better than before the surgery.

The worst part of surgeries for me are the stinking I.V.'s - I am such a wimp. Good luck tomorrow, I will be thinking of you. Let us know how things are when you are feeling up to it.
