I've got a doctor's appointment down there tomorrow and - as we were driving back from FedEx just now - Andy said, "It's a shame you don't know anybody down there. Does anyone from your kidney group live there? You could have lunch with them."

It was one of those 'smack-your-forehead-why-didn't-I-think-of-that' moments.

So, anybody in Tucson? If so, wanna hang out for a little while after my appointment? Meet for lunch somewhere?

9.28.10:   Began training for Home Nocturnal Hemodialysis on a Fresenius Baby K
10.21.10: Began creating buttonholes with 15ga needles
11.13.10: Our first nocturnal home treatment!

I am pretty sure Ed (edersham) lives in that area, but only part-time. He's probably incommunicado right now, working on a boat up in Alaska.

Shame, because if you two were able to get together, you could say hi from me!

Darn.  :( Well, I guess it'll just be me and my Kindle.

I hope it goes well, too. I'm pushing to get my parathyroids out and I hope the surgeon agrees.

Nope. I'm at the maximum dose and my PTH is still climbing.

Hey desert dancer I wont be in the area that day but sometimes I have to drive down there for my job but if you are ever in Palm springs  ca or just passing by let me know I would  love to have a conversation with somewon who understands a little of what I am going thru
