Wow….now I have co-workers using the kidney card.   :rofl;

My co-worker and I are doing the job of roughly 5 people. At least, we are trying to. Naturally, attempting to do all this work with just two people…thing are apt to fall behind.
One of our customers loves to complain and moan about how things are always behind and we need to just do our jobs!  ::) One of our guys told her about how understaffed we are right now. And how one of the two ladies working (me) had just had a kidney transplant and between all her medical appointments and health issues she is still trying to get everything done and caught up. My transplant is over a year old.  ;D
The customer immediately changed her tune and said “I am a cancer survivor and I know how hard it can be….I had no idea.”

"Asbestos Gelos"  (As-bes-tos yay-lohs) Greek. Literally, "fireproof laughter".  A term used by Homer for invincible laughter in the face of death and mortality.
