Hi All,

This is a bit off topic but I am trying to find out if anyone else has received a letter recently regarding a recall of alcohol prep pads. The letter was addressed to my husband, who is deceased (01-13-2010).

The letter stated that my husband received a specific lot # of pads that is being recalled due to "potential presence of low levels of a microorganism, Bacillus cereus".

My husband used these pads constantly during at-home dialysis and administration of insulin. I still have about 50 left in my medicine cabinet!

I am assuming that the letter was specifically addressed to my husband because his name was on a list of bulk delivery of dialysis supplies he received thru a local supplier of the manufacturer's products.

I find this letter very disturbing and I don't know what to do about this situation.
