New fistula placement

Hey Guys, quick question. I have a graph in my upper left arm and it is clogged and cannot be used anymore. I'm a PD patient and am having to go back on hemo and am trying to decide if I should get a new graph somewhere else. My question is this: Does anyone know if I can have another graph placed in the same arm only around the wrist? I don't want to use up my right arm and my Neph. suggested we use my legs  I'm afraid of this....Does anyone have a fistula/graph in their legs???

My surgeon said if mine goes in my right he'd put one through the same insission where my failed graft is on my left, he didn't go into detail of how he would do that though as I still have a functioning graft in my right. Have them try your right arm and see if they can hook it to your axilary vein, that's where mine is in my upper arm connected to the axilary vein. It has it's issues but now that I did a surgeon switch it seems to be doing pretty good.

We have a lady @ our Center who has a GRAFT in her leg!  That was the only place they could use, according to her.

There was a gentleman at my old clinic that had a graft in his leg. It used to creep me out at the though of getting stuck in the leg! I'm a coward when it comes to needles anyway so it also creeps me out to get stuck in my arm!

Adding to my previous post,
I have also heard that grafts in the leg do very good blood flow, we had a lady at my old center who had one and she ran 500 blood flow rate!
My surgeon said however he does not like accesses in the leg and only does them when it's the last resort, because they aren't as sanatary which I can see that being an issue.
