since doing home hemo, there is one item that I found to be extremely invaluable.  I would always make sure it was very close by the machine.

This item is a roll of paper towels !  :2thumbsup;

I always find that there is a drip here or a drip there (usually when dismantling the tubes and such), the paper towel comes in handy to wipe out any of the drips that occur.

I keep a roll of paper towels and a package of baby wipes. Both very handy.

sometimes in a rush to strip the machine, I may forget to drain the bicart, so when I pull it from the machine, gush water everywhere.  After that, i learned to keep a roll of paper towels by the machine.  :rofl;
