Want to give a thumbs up to FMC Lombard IL Dialysis center. It is a wonderful dialysis center. They have been very helpful with my visit there. They gave me a renal cook book Friday could have used that when I was first on dialysis 1 year ago. Social worker is really nice and helpful. The Mgr took time to come out and talk to me. The staff told me everything they were doing to me and my machine and they would check on me every 10 to 15 min to see if I was alright no need to wave and shout to get there attention.There nurses station is right in the middle of the room they can see all the chairs no problem. Love the TV/ internet touch screen monitor really cool no need to bring in laptop there. Once again thanks FMC Lombard IL dialysis center  For making my visit and  treatments wonderful   :bandance; :bandance; :bandance;

Wow! you really got lucky!  I would love to have that centre.  One thing that is the same as mine - the nurses station is in the middle and they are easy to reach.

   you said it boswife today at my treatment there I told them I need to take them (staff) back with me and show my people how to treat us. It sure made a difference here in Lombard Il dialysis center. They are very very good and wonderful to be around not use to all the checks they do to see if im ok and need anything. They seam to be very concerned about the people they treat. Just wish there was one like this back home. Be going home tomorrow untill maybe spring or summer next year. I wil be sure to request this dialysis center when I come back  :bandance; :yahoo; :bandance;

Yeap, I agree that there are good centers out there.  J. went to one briefly like that in Smyrna, TN. (FMC).  Station in the center of the clinic.  They can observe every patient there.

Yeah, my FMC in Gurnee, IL is exactly like you describe it. Probably the same regional manager. I know it's the same social worker. I've got no complaints. Figured they were all like that.
