Going through life tied to a chair!

« on: August 17, 2011, 03:54:03 PM »

Not all of us read the topic "What Book are you Currently Reading?" so I was going to post  this in OFF Topic but it has the word KIDNEY in it so I couldn't do that, so here goes.

I read the book "Larry's Kidney" and just thought I'd share it with you.  Great book!  This guy Dan gets a call from his black sheep ailing cousin who wants to go to China and buy a kidney.  It is the story of their true adventure and it was hilarious about the truths of dialysis and the shortage of organs.  It may be available in libraries and only $10 in book stores.

  :rofl;

Yay!

$10 you say?!  After a quick Google I can only find it (UK) on amazon.co.uk at a whopping £14.78 (about $25 US). It doesn't seem to be available anywhere else.

*sigh*
