There is a woman in my city, and the poor woman works for the United Way, I think.. some kind of charity anyway.. and her name is Pix Butt.. no lie

My brother went to school with a girl named Holly Wood.

My favorite name of all time, was the Nascar driver in the 80s and early 90s.. I have to wonder how he lived through high school.. his name was Dick Trickle

Ok, just because I have to....My maiden name is Dick....my first name is Summer....loads of fun lemme tell ya! I came up with quite a few jokes my self just to get through school. My little brother went into the Airforce & was Private Dick for a little bit & now he's getting his PhD (in Physics you sicko's lmao) & will soon be Dr. Dick....we used to joke that we were glad he wasn't going into the OBGYN field. I have a cousin somewhere down the line named Jewel Dick & my grandfather's name is Don DARLING Dick (not joking with either of those!!) I worked with a guy years ago & his nieces were Cinnamon Sage & Stormy Winter.

My father went to school with a girl named Crystal Pitcher.

He became a teacher and had a student named Jennifer... at parent-teacher conferences my father introduced himself to her parents and called them Mr. and Mrs.  Veg-A-Tably.  His student had told them her last name was french.  The parents gave him a weird look, and then laughed.  They said "Don't let her fool you, our name is VEGETABLE!"  Jennifer Vegetable... oh my! LOL :rofl;

There is a Farthing Road near to where I live.

English and Americans have no difficulty prouncing the "th" in "farthing" but the rest of Europe does. It prounces the road as "Fart-hing".  :rofl;

True story!

A friend of mine's wife worked in the data department for one of our local school districts. She was compiling upcoming student lists and verifying the list versus what data they were given. Line by line kind of work.

Someone's parents should be dragged into re-education classes.

Her name was Teezhia Balls.

OMG,     I  worked  with a  guy  who's name  was  Thunder  Storm. He  had  a  red  mark on his  face  as if  thunder  and  lighting had  struck him.

He  had  as sister,  I  can't  remember  if her  name  was  Summer or  spring............. so it  would  be
either:    Spring  Storm
or  :       Summer  storm

I thought  that  was pretty  cruel  of their  parents  to name  them  such  names.

This thread is    :rofl;     :rofl;     :rofl;      :rofl;

I'll have to remember to come to this thread for my laugh of the day LMAO!       :shy;

Just the title alone is making me laugh "Unfortunate names"

I've always wondered WHY parents don't think of what they name their child, what kind of nick names they willl be called.......or if they will be teased in school. Sometimes kids can be pretty cruel.

I worked with a woman whose married name is Gale Storm; a friend of ours had baby boy, and I thought they said his name "Espin." Turned out they spelled it "ESPN".
