Hubby had that "stick up the dick" done last January!!  He wasn't impressed. Then he had to have a larger one put it to have a polyp removed ( he had a spinal instead of being put to sleep) . And he had to have it done again in July to check to see if everything was okay.  It was and he doesn't need to have it repeated again.  He said it really didn't hurt but it was uncomfortable (wouldn't think LOL!!)  Usually you have a pain in your back and feel like you want to pee for a while after. It did make his eyes water!!  Just thinking about it!!  He almost cried when he got a call in July to have it repeated LOL.

you know girls I get dressed in my best because its the only time I get out. I put my best cloths on, perfume, beads. Sad isn't it. Still it keeps us going.

I'm with you on getting dressed up.  I show up in a nice pant suit, hair done, make up in place, rings on and everyone around me is in shorts and tshirts!  Or sleep pants.   I'm sure no one there cares what I wear.  I do it for me.   So, put on your beads and look fabulous!  Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

I get dressed up because I want them to see a fellow professional taking time out of a busy schedule - not a bum with nothing better to do but wait around for them!

Iam definately different!  Never have been one to get all dolled up!  Now I don't go in rags or nothing like that, but I wear jeans, t-shirt, earings or whatever, but nothing fancy!  Im a Tom Boy in that respects but I am proud to be a woman!

Now I will dress up a little for Church, but that's it, ladies!

Thanks for all your posts guys. See, us women do like getting dressed up. Yes I do it for me, it makes me feel better, when I sit there there for hours. I am getting to hate hospitals.

BB...I went to one of hubby's clinic/neph visits all dressed up in business atire and the neph asked me if I had a "job interview" to go to that day...I was on my game though and said "yes sir, I am going to apply here at the clinic as a quality control specialist".    He got a big laugh out of it but I also think I scored a point or two!    :rofl;

Best Clothes? Beads? Perfume?  Okayyyyyyy -   I don't know, I used to get there at 6:00 A.M. and wait till Midnight. No Doctor. I'm pretty sure, they make Their Rounds at 3:00 A.M. , just so they don't have to Talk to Patients Wifes.

I had a great Comment to make about His next Appt., but I won't. I would be Banned for sure.

On a more Serious note, I hate the Phrase, " Been there, done that " but there really are People out here, who have done, what You are doing and most Important, They Survived.

I'm not sure if I should be admitting this, but I always read your posts with a southern American accent (I'm not sure where you're from).  I also have an image of you in my head which is probably completely different to who you actually are.

Will you forgive me?

 >:D

Billybags, I have a confession to make ... I LOVE hospitals.  The smell, the busy-ness, the people-watching. I can understand why you're starting to hate them though.  *huggles*

Poppy, How come you can see things. I probably are not how I come across. I live in a small town out side of Nottingham UK, have you heard of Robin Hood. I am 66, really skinny, I love reading, computing, I am involved in a residents group for the estate I live on. I do not swear, OK a bit when I am on here. I love a smoke and a drink of wine, I love my wine.I find fun in my 4 grandchildren. I love my husband very much. I really am very normal or what ever normal is.  I get on my bandwagon when I feel some thing is not right. I enjoy discussions and I am involved with local issues. What more would you like to know.

Oh billybags, I know where you're from (you only live two hours drive away)!  My previous post was for lmunchkin!

But, you love a smoke!?  Well, that has completely spoilt the image of YOU that I had! Tsk!
