Hi.  I'm 36, male and starting hemo this week.  My pd cath has gotten a hole so I need to move to hemo.  I'm a bit overwelmed.
I live with my wife, daughter (13 y/o and plays roller derby), 2 cats and 2 daschunds.

Bajanne-
Benn PD for 2 years.  No.  its not the end of the world.  Just not liking the time it will take up.  There are benifits, though.  My evenings will be my own again.  That eill be nice.

Hi from Kansas   :flower;     My hubby started dialysis in May, we've learned so much from this website, and you'll really need to be your own advocate, it can be overwhelming, but you can always come here and ask a question.

Hi, and welcome!

I'm sorry you lost your cath. I'm guessing you do not yet have a fistula.

Have you considered nocturnal? Or NxStage?

There are still options even on hemo.

Yep, "overwhelmed" is an accurate term!  Welcome to IHD!
