Report Cards v Lab Values- Discuss v Grade! Slight rant enclosed. ;)

Meh.  My nephrologist used to give me a "report card" on my kidney function before I went on dilaysis.  I thought the name a bit juvenile, but appreciated the information on where my critical numbers were.

Now that I am on dialysis, I get weekly lab reports showing my lab results and the normal ranges for each value.  The dietician and doctors will discuss the information with me and explain what concerns them and what is not a problem and why.
