I love music....& I was listening to this for the first time while Charles was in the hospital & we were finding out about ESRD & getting him on D. While he was there......& a few times since....he has told me that he would understand if I wanted to leave & divorce him. I reminded him that I did say "in sickness & in health...'till death do us part" & I meant it.

Rascal Flatts....a country band....has a beautifully perfect song called "I Won't Let Go".

Wife of Charles --
   diagnosed with psoriasis in 2000?
   no diagnosed kidney issues until 3 weeks ago
   diagnosed with ESRD 2/24/11
   found out birth defect of kidney valve was cause 2/28/11
   started dialysis  3/1/11
   I still have a level head....most of the time

that's how I feel too. I realize that everyone has a different relaionship and different ways that deal with it, but I put everything I can into mine.

I would go with the theme song to The Fighter "How do you like me now".  We are having a damn good renal year.
