I've been on hemo for about 5 years, fistula about 2 years before that and interrupted by an unsuccessful try at p.d.

Hello NM and welcome to IHD! Sounds like you have had quite a bit of experience in the world of dialysis. You've come to a good place to interact with others who are also affected/afflicted (depending on your point of view) by kidney problems.
