PD and strenuous workouts
«

Even though I'm almost 58, I work out very hard for 4-6 hours at least 3 times per week with lighter exercise on the other days. (I'm a competition-level table tennis player.) I also want to continue working full-time (long hours too BTW).
Now I don't suppose sit-ups will be recommended right after the PD catheter is inserted, but just how strenuously will I be able to exercise or compete? Will I have to be dry for this? Would HD be any different in this regard?

I work fulltime willis. And i am Dry during the day because i lift heavy things at work. I was told if i were wet during the day i could easily get a hernia. I was also told not to lift over 20/30 pounds. Well i have to do what i have to do which is lift things over 30 pounds.
But the next guy might lift the same thing with a different outcome?
I would suggest you be dry when working out. And i wouldn't work the stomach area to much. But you should first talk to your neph about it.
From what i understand people with a fistula shouldn't lift heavy things with the fistula arm.
