Need some feedback.

My catheter was installed 7 months ago. The exit site is generally healthy. And Dialysis is going as well as expected.
However, every morning after my work out for the past two weeks I've been seeing some fresh blood discharge from the exit site.
Does anyone else experience this?
How did you deal with it?
Is this cause for concern?

Regards,
Fred

It is a concern and should be checked out by the nurse. There should not be fresh blood coming out there.

Did you pull hard on it?  When I worked and pushed heavy things and moved around a lot I would sometimes get a little blood with my crusties.  I don't know how much is ok so please get it checked.  Mine was ok and just due to my increased activity.

Sometimes if you have been active the catheter will rub and can cause bleeding.
