hello Im 24 and have been dealing with kidney problems since I was nine. I am currently on dialysis and  have been on it for 2 and a half to three years. I really need someplace to vent when things are just going bad..

Diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease at age 19.
Renal Failure at age 38 (2010) came about 2 hrs close to dying. Central line put in an emergency.
Began dialysis on Aug 15, 2010.
Creatine @ time of dialysis: 27. I almost died.
History of High Blood Pressure
I have Neuropathy and Plantar Fasciitis in My Feet
AV Fistula created in Nov. 2011, still buzzing well!
Transplanted in April, 2013. My husband and I participated in the Living Donor paired exchange program. I nicknamed my kidney "April"
Married 18 yrs,  Mom to 3 kids to twin daughters (One that has PKD)  and a high-functioning Autistic son

Hi Axel, the first center I went to I was the oldest there, and I did dialysis with children who were nine and other ages, the youngest being three, and when I was there it encouraged me because those children had so much courage and hope that they would get better. I can't imagine having to deal with KD for that long, so keep going and the best thing to do is to stay POSITIVE, even though I know it's hard, because I feel like giving up sometimes, but that's why I joined this site so I can keep going! :welcomesign; :grouphug;
