She was asleep at the time. It was 23 just before she went to bed. The nurse made her give herself some insulin.
She never would have injected her with a reading of 23 at night as she knows her sugar drops while she sleeps. Her fiance told me so.

When they woke her up the next morning with her tea, they could not wake her.
He decided not to investigate it as he felt like it would not bring her back.

6 is a relative ok reading but she has dropped to 1.1 and 0 at occasion. I think I mentioned on here of someone nearly dying in the unit not so long ago.....well that was her. (little did we know)

I forgot the conversion factor, but my thinking is that it should be investigated so it doesn't happen to someone else.. However since this just happened, it is to early to be thinking lawsuits in my mind, except that evidence would need to be collected.

Des, I am very sorry for the loss of your friend Charmaine.
I also lost a few good Lupus-friends over the years
and it was very very hurtful,
especially because I saw how very hard they tried to survive.

I send you my good wishes, :grouphug;

Kristina.
