 :pray;  Hi everyone,  I'm Linda and my husband Bill has been on PD at night for about a year and a half.  We started with the Newton IQ and then switched to a Liberty pump type cycler due to his drain issues.  Its been a frustrating, time consuming journey and he's on the transplant list.  However, he just had major heart surgery which puts that on hold for 6 months.  The renal failure and diabetes makes everything more complicated.  I hope to share our experiences and glean yours.

Welcome to our community!   You have found just the place for support, encouragement and information.  We even have a section just for you - for caregivers and loved ones of dialysis patients.  You can feel free to rant, rage, vent or rave here.  Here we understand exactly what you are going through.  We are your new family :grouphug;  Just keep reading and keep posting so we can know how your husband is doing.  Will he join us as well?

Hello Lstock and welcome to our group.   :welcomesign;   You've had a lot to deal with in a short time and my heart goes out to you.   I'll be hoping that things go well for your hubby and he can be moved to active status on the list as soon as possible.  Sending hugs your way.   :grouphug;
