Yesterday, was My Husbands, Ron, Memorial Service. He was Buried in the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetary. There was a 21 Gun Salute, Taps and the Folding and Presentation, of the Flag to Me. People came from as far away, as California. It was, a most Beautiful and Fitting, Tribute, to a Man, that had, Worked hard all His Life, Served, the Country, He Loved and Fought a Long and Hard, Battle, with His Disease. He was always a Gentleman and remained, so, until the end. I Believe, in my Heart, that, Death, was not the Winner, that Day, Ron, was the One, who left, the Battle Field, holding the Victors Flag. God Bless, You all and again, Thank You, for Your Kind Words of Support, these last few Weeks.

Jo Ann, what a lovely tribute to a wonderful man.  And, I agree, he was the victor.  May you find comfort in your love for him.   :cuddle;

I'm sure that service was just amazing and you were very proud. I'm sorry you lost your husband. I can't imagine when it's time to lose your partner. Our family member was recently buried in a veterns cemetary but with sounding like a smaller ceremony. It was till outsiding the way the US Navy did it. You had beautiful way to remember your husband by.
