i almost bled to death today, because my catheter was worn out... it took the charge nurse to come and stop the leak there was blood splurging everywhere... i honestly thought i was gonna have to have a transfusion; it was horrible i tell you, but i'm ok now just a little pale.

Scary!  Did you get everyone's attention??   I bet you are pale!  Now what are they going to do?  A new cath?  Take care - you need a break!

hi boss, paris and IHD family,

well i've had this catheter for about four years now and the previous one for three years so yeah i really need it...i have two failed fistulas and no room for another one. Now i'm going to have to go and get the catheter fixed it's a simple procedure that i hope doesn't  get complicated. Thank you everyone for their concern, it really means a lot to me.... have a nice day.

Wow! Sweetie I hope everything went okay when they replaced the catheter!  It can be a hard road using one of those.  :grouphug;
