I think the we should make evryone do dialysis for a day. Within reason and adults. Force them in a hemodialysis clinic and put everyone in restraints and pull out the 15 gauge needles stick em pull their blood and have them sit for four hours laughing hyste >:Drically and see what the results would be. You mention blood and needles and see the looks you get maybe if everyone went through it it would change the opinion on donor and transplant awareness. Can you imagine the furor!!!!
There was an article on here a while back, about a social worker who had a simulated dialysis session, just to see what it was like. She wasn't actually connected to the machine, but they had lines taped to her and bags of fluid to weigh her down, taking one off each hour that she was in the chair.I think that should be part of dialysis nurse/tech training
