good to see you, not quite the same as getting to meet you, but much better than nothing.

Great job Carolyn!  Nice to see you "almost" live and your Mum as well.  Hope the budget cuts are not so drastic as expected or that you continue to manage at any rate.
I also loved the reporter's coat...I have a black one that is quite similar.   :grouphug;

Carolyn, well done! Look at you, Madame Articulate! Oh for an ounce of your calm and persuasive presence.... You had me ready to take to the streets in protest. (not sure that would really get the attention of anyone in Ireland - crazy woman marches down the block in Wisconsin, USA - but there it is.)

I also loved the reporter's coat...
Didn't you though? It was divine!

Good job.  It was interesting to watch news from another country.  So, how did the budget turn out.  Did you get cut 15%?  Ouch!

I, too, am wondering how the new budget will affect you.  We've been hearing a lot about the economic difficulties in Ireland and about the drastic cuts (same type thing in the UK, too, I read).  Can you tell us more about this?

(And yes, I covet that coat!)

Hi All...

Thanks for all the comments!....

The budget could have been worse... Welfare rates were cut by 4%... I REALLY thought that the carers payment could have been abolished, so I'm feeling really relieved all in all...

Mum and are appearing on a morning show next Thursday... Will try to post a link if I can...

Love to all....
