Welcome, Gina. So sorry to hear of your husband's passing. But I must say that with this site, you are not alone. Here is a group of people who understand exactly what you are going through where dialysis is concerned, and we are there for you (and that is not just a saying). Feel free to post and let us know how you are coping.

Gina, hope we can get to know more about you and maybe help fill some of your hours of lonliness. I could spend hours on here (and some evenings I DO!) We are all in this together, maybe at different stages, using different modalities, on the other side of the machine and with various support~ but this group is the best support system~ IMHO (in my humble opinion)

Hi Gina!
Sorry to hear about your loss. I'm Melissa and I will be starting home PD on the baxter cycler next week. (I'm in training this week.) I'm new to IHD.com too, and am already ADDICTED to the site!! You'll find a wealth of info. here, and alot of support. I'm still learning to navigate the forums, and haven't managed to read or post as often as I've wanted, but this site has been a great comfort to me so far. I'm glad you're here! Maybe we can compare notes when I actually get started!!
