yes apparently so..
ive been on him about it for months now, and still havent gotten it sorted out. when i was in the hospital, he had a surgeon stop by and tlak to me about the parathyroidectomy... I was thinking, what the heck? i dont want to get cut on, when we could potentially use the pills....

Sensipar does work gothic!!  Hubby has been taking them for about 3 months now and his parathyroid is going down!!  I can't believe that the doc won't take the time to arrange for you to get them.  It's a lot easier than surgery.

Born with autosomal recessive polycystic kidney disease
1995 - AV Fistula placed
Dec 7, 1999 cadaver transplant saved me from childhood dialysis!
10 transplant years = spleenectomy, gall bladder removed, liver biopsy, bone marrow aspiration.
July 27, 2010 Started dialysis for the first time ever.
June 21, 2011 2nd kidney nonrelated living donor
September 2013 Liver Cancer tumor.
October 2013 Ablation of liver tumor.
Now scans every 3 months to watch for new tumors.
Now Status 7 on the wait list for a liver.
How about another decade of solid health?
