My Husband and I, Retired, to the Beautiful State of Tennessee, Four Years Ago. We Rented a Small Apartment, thinking We would build our Dream Home here.
As soon as We got here, Ron's Health, " Went South ". For the last Four Years it has been one Crisis, after Another. It's a nice Apt. on nice Grounds, but right after We got here, the Property, was sold, to an Owner, that just seems to be concerned, about Rent Checks and not who He rents to. It's gone Down Hill alot.
Last Spring, We thought, We should start looking for a new place to live. We did not contact a Realtor, I just keep, My Eyes, Open, when driving around Town.
Our Town, is not very Big, so not a lot to choose from. We knew, We needed, One Level, a nice area and close to His Dialysis and no Yard Work, or Outside Maintence. Two Months Ago, I went to a Garage Sale, right behind, the Dialysis Center, a Cluster of Condos. I bought a few Items and on the way out, saw a " For Sale " sign, at the Unit, next Door.
I asked, the Lady, having the Garage Sale, what the Price was on it. She didn't know, but said, " This Unit, will be for Sale, as soon as We get it fixed, up. It belonged, to My Mother, that We had to put into a Nursing Home a few Months Ago " I went in and looked at it and then I went to the Dialysis Center and picked up Ron and had Him go look at it. Long Story Short. We Closed on it, Two Weeks Ago. I had to do the Closing, by Myself, as Ron, was to Sick, to go with Me, but it's Ours, now. All it needed, was New Carpet, ( She gave us a Carpet Allowance ) and Painting. She had already Contacted a Painter and When We Offered, to Buy, She said, " Meet with the Painter and pick Your own Color, I'm Paying "
We Hope to be in by the End of September. If You stand at the End of Our Drive, You can see into the Windows of the Dialysis Center. From Our Garage to the Center, will be less, then One Minute. I Prayed, for " Patience " that God, would help us find a new place and He did. Wish us Luck, on Our new Move. It will be the " Mizar" Move, as Ron is not able to help. I'm very Excited.

That is very exciting Mizar. Best of luck in your move. Gosh, the only way to be closer to dialysis would be to live there. Lucky thing.    :yahoo;

This is just marvelous!!  You couldn't have planned this even if you tried!   I am really excited for both of you.  This sure seems to be a case of being guided to the right place.   Wish I could help you pack and move.  This is wonderful news.  About time, right?!    :2thumbsup;     :clap;    :yahoo;

It's great when things come together. This move seems to be a very good decision which will hopefully make dialysis and life easier. Best wishes on your new home!  :2thumbsup;

Having a home where you are more comfortable will be one less thing to stress over. So close to the center gives you back precious time as well. Good luck moving!
